Candler County Schools Athletic Department has been named the Region Winner (Region 3A-Division 1) of the Regions Bank Directors Cup by the Georgia Athletic Director’s Association. The Regions Bank Directors Cup recognizes those athletic departments in all GHSA classifications who have excelled and shown superior performance.
Athletic Director Vicki Bowen states, “We are very honored to receive this award for the third year in a row. We have a very strong athletic program thanks to our Board of Education, Superintendent, Administration, Coaches, Students, Parents and Fans. Our teams work hard and that makes me want to work even harder for them."
