Forging Pathways to Bright Futures: Career Readiness and Financial Literacy
Over the past few months sixth and seventh grade social studies students at Metter Middle School have been learning about the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a dynamic global economy.
This week, they had the incredible opportunity to step into the world of business and entrepreneurship at the Junior Achievement Discovery Center in Savannah, Georgia. The simulation provided students with hands-on experiences that were geared towards preparing them for financial realities and career challenges that they'll encounter as they venture into the professional world! Students learned essential financial skills, from budgeting to saving, and even experienced the thrill of running their own business. Here's to the leaders of tomorrow!
