2nd grade students in Mrs. Sherry’s classes are studying force and motion. Based on the standards, students are to plan and carry out an investigate, design a device to change the speed or direction of an object, and record and analyze data. The students had to create a device that would change the direction of an object as well as the speed of the object. The students created marble mazes, a train track, and a discovery maze with a ping pong ball. These students are SWIRL-ing with their science class! #candlerswirls #educationisbetterinmetter
